July 25, 2021 – “The Cost of Exploitation” – 2 Samuel 11:1-15 -Today we discover the dark side of King David. He steals Bathsheba, the wife of his loyal soldier Uriah and makes her pregnant. Then he arranges to have Uriah killed! This is monstrous evil as the powerful king exploits two poor subjects. Yet exploitation permeates society and even affects us.
