Ministry

At CPC, we understand ministry to be the way we care for both our church community and our Collingswood community. Within our congregation, a group called the Deacons is mostly responsible for how we demonstrate our caring .

Prayer

Prayer is how we pour out our hearts to God and discern God’s plan for us. Every Sunday, worshippers are invited to share their joys and concerns in writing which we read aloud during the service and give to the Deacons for follow up.

We maintain a prayer list published in the church bulletin with the names facing challenges of all kinds.

We have an active prayer chain where members pray for those in crisis.

Visitation

Along with the Pastor, Deacons visit all who desire it . Whether at home or in the hospital, for occasions reflective or joyful, we are available.

Tea & Talk —GROWN FOLKS of all ages!

TEA & TALK at the Collingswood Presbyterian Church is enjoyed by adults 50+ – or whatever your age might be!

We meet from 6:30-8 PM on the 3rd Wednesday of every month for social and creative activities.

TEA & TALK allows us to get together over a meal, a game, hear some music, get creative with an interesting craft or painting, and share some conversation with other grownups! Most likely you will leave TEA & TALK with a light meal, a project, and a smile, looking forward to the next TEA & TALK!
